Divine Disruption - the way of the Macedonian Call
After having had the best Thanksgiving and Christmas with my children in Virginia, I returned home December 28, 2019 to be rested for 10 p.m. New Year’s Eve Watch Night Service at my church, with plans to then hibernate at home the rest of the winter with a roaring fire in the fireplace. Paul also had ideas to do other things when God came in and interrupted his plans in Acts 16:6-8.
As the service was in progress, I whispered to Elder Everett Holman,
“Eld. son, the Spirit of the Lord is talking to me!”
Still I was only thinking…
“YOU CAN'T MAKE THESE THINGS UP”! … ONLY GOD!
Eld. Holman responded,
“Mother, whatever the Lord tells you to do, do it!”
“MACEDONIAN CALL TO PANAMÁ, JAMAICA, AND COLOMBIA”; consecration produces results. ... I heard as I cried out to the Father.
The term “Macedonian Call” refers to a God-given vision that re-directed the route Paul took on his second missionary journey (Acts 15:39—18:22). Paul’s plan was to visit and strengthen the churches he had planted in the Asian province of Galatia during his first journey. HOWEVER: After that he hoped to take the gospel to unchurched regions. Paul and his companions, Silas and Timothy, had plans to head directly west, but they were “kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia” (Acts 16:6–8).
🌺 The Macedonian Call Acts 16:6–10 KJV: 6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, 7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. 8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. (Acts 16:6–10) THEREFORE, LIKE PAUL I WAS ON A MACEDONIAN CALL WITH SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE HOLY GHOST .
SO BE PREPARED AND ENCOURAGED at the same time FOR THE HOLY GHOST TO SPEAK ... WHENEVER GOD SENDS YOU; THE HOLY GHOST PREPARES YOU, AND SUPERNATURAL & POWERFUL THINGS WILL HAPPEN.

As I laid in bed in my hotel room, the Lord said to me “Use the television in the morning as your Virtual Prayer directive.” What? Prior to falling asleep, I thought “That’s a funny phrase, Lord.” TV? Virtual Place of Prayer? I slept with the TV on, not wanting to miss what the Holy Spirit will be saying in the morning. As I awakened at 6a.m. on Thursday, January 9th, the TV news station was celebrating “Day of the Martyrs”. As I was looking at the TV screen, the Holy Spirit said “start Praying”, and I did as I was instructed!
Now, I can say unequivocally the Omniscient God had allowed me to see the beginning of what we have now come to know as the Virtual CLARION CALL of Prayer and Ministry on Zoom!
The “First Monday Prayer and Fasting Group”, some 75 powerful women of prayer - strong, from different denominations, Pacific and Atlantic side of Panamá. (Some men also attend the prayer time and speak at the gathering.)
Visiting my dear friend, Patsy, in hospital in Panamá. Could this be one of the the Lord's reasons for the Macedonian Call? “For ... I was sick, and ye visited me ...” Matthew 25:35-46

To know this beloved sister in the LORD is to LOVE Her!! I met Bishop Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA Thomas-Jones in ILLINOIS in 2003 while on a visit with my daughter Nicquet, and I have every reason to appreciate and embrace Bishop AᴍᴇʟᴅA!!
An interesting encounter happened at the 2020 Breakfast. During the meal, as it happened the individuals at the head Table took a walkabout, greeting some of the guests including Prime Minister THE MOST HONOURABLE ANDREW HOLNESS who turned up at the table where Bishop Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA was seated. He greeted her, and Barbara indicated that Bishop Mother Lady AᴍᴇʟᴅA was visiting from Panama ... a lively exchange followed in which Bishop Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA reminded the Prime Minister that many Jamaicans came to her country, to help build the PANAMA CANAL ... the conversation could have gone on longer but for the fact that the Breakfast Proceedings called the P.M. back to his seat.
Barbara and I have hosted Bishop AᴍᴇʟᴅA whenever she comes to Jamaica! There was always room for this TEACHER OF THE WORD and PRAYER WARRIOR to spend time opening the WORD to classes in different evangelical churches ... which made her a favourite Bible teacher in Kingston.
Bishop Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA heads an Intercessors’ Organization ... FAITH INTERNATIONAL that has worldwide reach but does significant work in her homeland – PANAMA!! I am delighted to commend Bishop, Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA Thomas-Jones.

Overnight bus ride ... In my deep reflection and pondering, through my peripheral vision I felt someone staring at me. Slowly opening my eyes, I could see a little girl intently looking at me... in the same manner I was listening to the Lord.
Paul had a clear mission from the Lord, as told to him by the Holy Spirit, which was to help the Churches. (Acts 16:9-10) With me there was no exception, I was sent to help several Churches both in Jamaica and Panama, with accommodations provided by spiritual brothers and sisters, friends in the Lord whom I call My Lydias!
